Day 1: Arrive Delhi

On arrival in Delhi you will meet Vilasa representative to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Delhi (NCR) – 27 Hole Golf Course

 

After breakfast, enjoy playing golf at ITC Classic Golf Course in the vicinity of your hotel. Day 3: Delhi

After breakfast, play golf at ITC Classic Golf Course. Afternoon, you will go for city sightseeing India Gate, President’s House, Rajpath, Diplomatic Enclave, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple).Come back and relax in the comfort of your hotel.

2 Days 4-5 : Agra
Day 4: (233 kms/4 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Agra. Check in to your hotel.

Day 5: Agra

After early breakfast, you will leave for excursion to Taj Mahal – the most outstanding monument of love in white marble, one of the seven wonders of the world. It is the most famous and long-lasting construction of the Mughal Empire, a masterpiece of architecture. Built on the orders of the sultan Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. During the year, the Taj Mahal is visited by 3 to 5 million visitors, of which more than 200000 – from abroad. In 1983, the Taj has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage.

 

 

Later, you can visit the marble mausoleum of Itmad- ud- Daulah, architectural structure of extraordinary beauty, built by Empress Nur Jehan in memory of her father Mirza Ghiyat Beg -Mughal army commander. Then visit the Agra Fort, or the Red Fort, built by order of the Mughal emperor Akbar the Great in 1565, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is one of the most important fortresses of India. At different times, the fort was used for military purposes and as a palace.

 

Experience 1: In evening you will attend “Mohabbatein Taj Show” depicting the romantic love story of Emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

 

Experience 2: Visit to private collection of gems/jewellery and embroidery/ tapestries in Agra.

3 Day 6-7 : Jaipur
Day 6: Agra- Jaipur (238kms/5 hours)

Drive in to your private car to Jaipur – the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan in Northern India, also known as the Pink City of India. Check in your palace hotel.

Day 7: Jaipur

After breakfast, you will go to Amber Fort. Riding on elegantly caparisoned elephants, you will approach the fort in the traditional way. The high gateways allow to enter on these broad-backed animals. Inside, you will find lavish courtyards, beautifully decorated halls and the Chamber of Mirrors.

 


Later sightseeing tour of Jaipur city, visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory, which is equipped with instruments of astonishing size and precision, including a 90 foot high sun dial which is remarkably accurate, We will also see the ornate and elaborate Palace of Winds, the Hawa Mahal, a famous landmark of Jaipur and the City Palace museum.

This city was showcased in Hollywood movie “Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”.

Experience 3: In evening explore the ‘Bazaars’ in the old city on a Rickshaw.

4 Day 8-9 : Kolkata
Day 8: Jaipur- Kolkata (By Air)

After early breakfast, you will be transferred to airport to catch flight to Kolkata. On arrival transfer to hotel.

 

 

Afternoon, you will go for city tour which includes Mantictolla Temple, Old British Buildings, University quarter, BBD sq., St. John Church, Eden Garden, Howrah Station and Bridge, New Bridge, drive around Fort William, National Library- Kalighat temple (from outside), St. Paul cathedral, Indian Museum (Closed on Mondays), Evening visit local food market.

Day 9: Kolkata – 18 Hole Golf Course

After breakfast, you drive to Royal Calcutta Golf Club, the 18 hole Golf Club established in 1829 is the oldest Golf Club in India and first outside Great Britain. Play golf at leisure.

 

 

Evening drive to Victoria Memorial to watch light and sound show between 6.15 pm to 07.00 pm. The show titled as Pride & Glory – the Story of Calcutta, is held both in English and Bengali and depicts Kolkata’s past and present and its unique cultural heritage.

5 Day 10-12 : Jorhat
Day 10: Kolkata – Jorhat – 18 Hole Golf Course (By Air)

After breakfast, transfer by air to Jorhat. On arrival transfer to Kaziranga Golf Resort.

After breakfast play Golf at Kaziranga Golf Resort.

 

 

It is situated at Jorhat in a peaceful, serene, yet easily accessible location and is only 75 km from the world famous Kaziranga National Park – a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO. The course is conveniently set with colonial style cottages and a unique heritage bungalow known as “Burra Sahib’s Bungalow” that is now the Club House. Fine dining, a wellness spa,indoor games and an uninterrupted view of the pristine surrounds and idyllic setting make this facility a “must visit” destination.

 

Developed on 150 acre land, the challenging 18 hole, par 71 golf course is the first in the midst of a tea garden is a first of its kind in the world. The golf course is designed by Mr Ranjit Nanda, one of the leading Golf Course Architects in India and a prominent name in the International Golf scene. Mr Nanda also represents Gary Player Design Company established by the legendary golfer Gary Player.

 

 

The course is complemented by a unique two-sided driving range which accommodates up to 72 golfers at a time who play off natural turf. The 18 hole golf course has strategically conceived holes that challenge all skill levels. There is also a Golf Academy with professional coaching and a well equipped Golf Pro Shop 15.

Day 12: Jorhat

After breakfast, full day to play Golf at Kaziranga Golf Resort.

 

 

Experience 4: Afternoon visit to Tocklai Tea Research Center where they carry research on aspects of Tea cultivation and processing. Enjoy at of sipping tea in the Tea tasting room. You will also see Tea processing units and also different tea plants.

6 Day 13 : Kaziranga
Day 13: Jorhat – Kaziranga (110 kms/2.20 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga.Upon arrival at Kaziranga, visit Kaziranga National Park and explore the place on the back of an elephant. Enjoy flora and fauna of the park.

 

 

Kaziranga National Park – a world heritage site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned rhinoceros. Kaziranga also boasts the highest density of tigers among the protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. Though sighting of tigers are difficult because of the tall grasses that provide excellent camouflage, their presence can be felt everywhere by way of pug marks, kills and territorial markings.The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo and swamp deer.

 

Evening drive back to your hotel in Jorhat.

7 Day 14 : Delhi
Day 14: Jorhat – Delhi(By Air)

After breakfast and check out, you will be transferred to airport to catch flight to Delhi via Guwahati or Kolkata.

 

Evening transfer to International airport for onward journey.

Special Notes:

Taj Mahal is closed to public on Fridays. However, with the restoration of Mehtab Bagh, a 17th Century Mughal Garden, its location across the Yamuna River, provides breath taking view of the monument. It is possible to sit in this beautiful surrounding to have à uncluttered view of sunset or sunrise over the mausoleum.
